The Museum will be closed the months of January, February, and March except an hour before our Sunday 2:00-4:00 pm programs ans by appointment. For group tours and appointments call one of our board members or e-mail us. Admission is always free.

Getting to the Museum
The New Scotland Museum is located in the Wyman Osterhout Community Center on Old New Salem Road just off Route 85 in New Salem, New York. The approximate address is 7 Old New Salem Road, Voorheesville, NY 12186.
DIRECTIONS FROM ALBANY
Take Route 85 south (New Scotland Ave.) through Slingerlands to New Salem. Take a left onto Old New Salem Road, just after the second intersection with Rte. 85A, and just before Rte. 85 makes a steep climb towards Thacher Park.
DIRECTIONS FROM I-90 (East or West)
Take I-90 to exit 4 south to Rte. 85, (Slingerlands bypass) take a right (south) at the end of the bypass, and proceed on Rte. 85 to New Salem. Take a left onto Old New Salem Road, just after the second intersection with Rte. 85A, and just before Rte. 85 makes a steep climb towards Thacher Park.
